Before the wedding
In the days leading up to our time at Casa Felix (May 2-5), you are welcome to design your own adventure. If you are interested in exploring Barcelona, we recommend our neighborhood, Poble Sec (see map) or Gracia as chill locals-vibe neighborhoods to stay in. During the wedding- lodging and food info
Casa Felix has 21 bedrooms where we hope to accomodate all guests interested in staying on-site from May 2-5. The rooms cost 150 euros per room per night and are primarily doubles. Please note in the RSVP form if you would like a room on-site.
With regard to food during our time at Casa Felix, the welcome dinner on May 2nd, the wedding reception on May 3rd, and a post-wedding BBQ on May 4th will all be catered.
For the other non-event meals, we will be organizing a bulk grocery shop for our guests. We hope this will provide ease as there are 3 fully equipped kitchens on-site and as there are no grocery stores in the village of Olivella. We will buy materials for 5 meals; 3 breakfasts (for all 3 mornings at the venue), 1 light lunch (for the day of the wedding), and 1 light dinner for the day of the BBQ. Options will include fruit, coffee, pastries, eggs, etc… for breakfast, sandwich materials and sides for lunch, and tapas style nibbles for the light dinner. The cost for the groceries will be approximately 10 euros per person per meal. We will take into account any dietary restrictions listed in the RSVP form to make sure all are well taken care of.
We know this is a lot of information so please find below an example budget for a couple attending together:
150 per room x 3 nights = 450 euros
10 x 5 meals x 2 people = 100 euros
Total cost for 2 people = 550 euros (275 euros per person)
After the wedding
We will be heading to the beach town, Sitges from May 5-9 with our families after the wedding. You are more than welcome to join if some relaxing time on the beach sounds like a good addition to your Spain visit! We will not have any formal events planned but there will surely be some informal beach days. Sitges, as a small town with a compact historic center, is perfect for the go-with-the-flow vibe!
